It is necessary to mention that there were always the followers and organizers of terrorism. It always existed and there are a lot of people who suffered from it. The world terrorism passed through several stages of its development but its height was reached in the 21st century.

The great manifestation of terrorism of the 21st century was the attack of the World Trade Centre in New York and the Pentagon on September 11, 2000 by the group al Qaeda. To respond this terrorist act the government of the USA started the war against Iraq.

Later the series of terrorist acts followed in different parts of the world such as the explosions near the night clubs on the island Bali in Indonesia in the result of which 283 people were killed, the hostage-taking in the theatre in Moscow (Russia), the explosions in trains and railway stations in Madrid (Spain) in the result of which 191 people died and about 1500 people were injured. Later the similar series of explosions happened in London in the buses in the result of which about 50 people died and more than 100 people were injured. The series of explosions in Madrid and in London were organised by the same terrorist group al Qaeda.
