The evolution of the attitude to terrorism
The attitude to terrorism of people from different parts of the world is also influenced by the general historic evolution of the value of this phenomenon. The attitude to terrorism changed on every stage of human development and in certain conditions of the world-historian process.
Terrorism was born in Europe. And at the first stage of its history, the image of the perpetrator was usually considered to be the image of justice and truth. For example, the image of Robin Hood was the image of the good hero who is fighting for the rights of his people. But in general Robin Hood was also the perpetrator and committed crimes. So the image of the perpetrator was the image of the justice, truth, freedom, national independence, social justice, etc.
In the beginning of 20th century the governmental support of terrorist movement in the countries of potential or actual enemy was considered to be the normal and usual practice. But with the lapse of time countries with liberate values refuse from the usage of such kind of war tactics. And the financing of the terrorism was held only by the aggressive countries that were preoccupied by the ideological and political expansion. Such change happened after the World War I and during the World War II.
In 60-70s of the past century, the system of the international terrorism is formed. And since this moment the process of realising that the terrorism is the actual threat starts. So the attitude of society also changes.
